Trauma Therapy

Trauma therapy is a type of psychotherapy that aids in helping individuals who have experienced single or multiple traumatic events learn to cope and heal. Trauma is not limited to only first responders or the military. Anything in our lives that is life-altering can be deemed traumatic, including the death of a loved one.
Trauma techniques utilized are trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (tf-CBT), prolonged
exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), narrative therapy, and emotional freedom technique (EFT).

Grief Therapy

Psychotherapy for both death and non-death losses sometimes requires the support of someone who understands grief. Grief brings with it trauma and big, often confusing emotions. Grief therapy may be necessary when the world turns upside down for you.
Grief Therapy techniques utilized are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, memory making, journaling, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and companioning as you find
new purpose and meaning.

Learning to identify mental health challenges in corporate America can be challenging. While compassion fatigue and burnout are commonly experienced in helping professions, employees in every profession have the potential to experience these conditions. Education on the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and burnout, ways to manage these conditions, and ways leadership can support and encourage their teams are provided in whole or half-day trainings and individual workshops. These conditions can increase employee absenteeism, turnover, and reduced productivity. You may think your organization needs more time for such training. Do you have time not to conduct this training?
